How to Choose Your Path

Choose the path that leads to your destiny

How many times have you asked yourself, “What is my destiny? How many times have you wondered, “Where will my destiny lead me?”

If you are facing a fork in the road, what do you do? Do you just look at which one seems nicer or easier, and then take it? It may seem like a wise thing to do; but in this world, some appearances are deceiving.

As humans, we are only limited by our vision on what we can see ahead. The path that seems better may only be nicer up to a certain point. For all we know, after the bend, that road is filled with difficulties and troubles.

When we are about to choose the path that leads to our true destiny, we must come to God for His guidance. Your destiny may be a secret right now, yet it doesn’t have to be. When we seek the Kingdom of God, we know more and more about what God has for us.

God has sent us His divine teachings through His prophets and through His Son, Jesus Christ. In following His teachings, we are taught what to do in our walk here on earth. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 5:33:

“Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.”

The Lord wishes us to walk in His ways so that we will live in happiness and longevity. By following His steps, we are veered away from trouble, pain and suffering. By listening to His Spirit, we are led to choose the path that leads to our rightful destiny.

“Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.”

-Proverbs 4:26-27
