Separated Until the Veil Was Torn

There was this veil that covered man’s view and blocked the work of God to prosper in man’s life. So until the veil is torn or the division destroyed, man will remain separated from God.

Man has no power to tear the veil. And although God has the power, His just nature requires for the sin to be justified so that the division can be destroyed. But God loved man dearly. God’s love overpowered His anger towards sin that He sent His son Jesus to face the penalty of sin and remove the division between man and God. So through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, the sins of man were justified.

Jesus did not only shed blood and cleansed humans from their sins. Jesus did not only bear the wounds and bruised and brought healing to man. Jesus even tore the veil that covered man from the view of God. Jesus destroyed the division that separated man from God. The bible said: “By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place.”
